In this Our Changing Climate video essay, I take a brief look at China’s climate responsibility. Specifically, I dig into whether or not China is the primary driver of climate change, or whether they are trying to build a zero-carbon future. When it comes to China, a country of more than 1.4 billion people, nothing is simple. Especially when it comes to climate change. China is home to massive coal production, but also massive renewables production. This video tries to figure out exactly what role China is playing on the global climate action stage.
