Assessing Carbon Removal (2018)

Increasing numbers of scientists and climate policy experts are claiming that carbon removal (also known as negative emissions technologies) is necessary to meet the Paris Agreement goals. How can we assess carbon removal as part of a portfolio response to climate change and as individual technologies or approaches?
