Enormous wildfires rage in Canada as pillars of smoke choke sky

Hundreds of wildfires continue to rage across Canada, with emergency services fighting to get the blazes under control. Dramatic footage shows fires spreading across large woodland areas, as the country grapples with its worst-ever start to wildfire season. Warm and dry conditions have increased the wildfire risk across most of Canada, with nearly 800,000 hectares (two million acres) affected.
